Actual I'm in love with blousons, college- or bomberjackets. They are gorgeous fashion allrounders, can be worn sporty as well as elegant, especially when they are made of fine fabrics. My blouson is hometailored of a doubleface jacquard with a darker back side in an off-white and black lace pattern. I thought it would be a pity to show only one side of the fabric, that's why I made the raglan sleeves with the darker pattern and accentuated the difference with piping and cuffs in black. After finishing I still missed something - that's why I put the finishing touches on the blouson and made an emblem of a striped fabric in same colors. I sewed 2 pieces of the selfmade pattern together and turned it over, made a black edging with the piping border and embroidered the edges with fine Delica and Miyuki beads by hand. The initial brooch "P" is made of black acrylic - a company that makes house number plaques, made this for me (via Ebay). Wearing personalized fashion and accessories, is also one of the latest trends.
The blouson is based on pattern No. 123 from Burdastyle 4/2013 (made some alterations at the neckline). I didn't make any lining - I bound all seam allowances with satin bias binding instead.
